The Soaring Safety Foundation is tasked with analyzing accident data to
identify ways to reduce the accident rate. To accomplish this task the SSF
regularily tracks the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) accident
reports.
While these accident reports provide an insight into the number of accidents,
they do not help to identify the accident rates. To generate accident rates the
SSF needs some additional information. Specifically we need to know how many
flights or the number of flight hours US glider pilots are obtaining. You can
help fill in this missing information by filling out this simple form.
Thank you for doing your part to make soaring safer!
